這本書在博客來的外文館擺在相當明顯的位置，已經用力宣傳了好幾個月；雖然曾有衝動購入，不過此書網路評價不是很好。光看封面和書名便很吸引人，畢竟古典浪漫愛情小說和殭屍，兩種截然不同的類型/題材難以想像會如何結合。可惜的是，目前看了約三分之一，隱約覺得這是一本創意和噱頭大過實際內容的小說... 不過這系列發展得真快，此書作者另外還要寫一本 Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter，Quirk 除了另找作家寫了 Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters（已出版），還打算出傲慢與偏見的前傳：Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls；看樣子是想趁熱潮中大賺一筆吧。
又，這本書大概真的很紅吧，已有消息此書將改編成電影，而且將由 Natalie Portman 飾演女主角 Elizabeth Bennet！呃......這是真的嗎？
P.S.中文版也快上市了，由小異出版，直譯為《傲慢與偏見與殭屍》，試讀徵文活動正進行中。作者簡介是這麼介紹地：「作家、劇作家、電影製作人；曾上過一堂英國文學課。目前居住在洛杉磯。」顯然是直翻英文版封底的簡介，不過我總覺得「曾上過一堂英國文學課」這翻法怪怪的；原文是："Seth Grahame-Smith once took a class in English Literature."
